artlook® SWPA is a free online resource that provides an up-to-date picture of the people, places, and programs supporting arts learning for young people in our region.

 

Arts Ed Collaborative invites schools and arts partners in the thirteen counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland to join. Arts partners include organizations and individual teaching artists who offer arts education programs for young people and are interested in partnering with schools.

    artlook® SWPA Requirements for Arts Partners
    artlook® SWPA is open to organizations and teaching artists who offer arts education programs and are interested in partnering with schools. 


    artlook®  SWPA users

    In this last section you’ll provide information that determines who will have access to change your school’s public artlook® profile and what communications they receive from us. There are three different kinds of artlook® users, all of which have access to edit their school’s profile:

    • Principal. The principal receives invitations to informational sessions and an acknowledgment when their school’s profile is completed.
    • Point of contact. The point of contact receives high-level administrative communications and requests about artlook® SWPA.
    • Liaison. Each school is required to assign at least one liaison who is responsible for completing their school's artlook® SWPA profile and keeping the information up to date.

    Principals can edit the content of their school's artlook SWPA profile if they choose. They receive invitations to informational sessions and an acknowledgment when their school’s profile is completed, but aren't sent regular emails about the status of the profile.

    Point of contact

    Each school district is required to assign a point of contact who responds to high-level administrative communications and requests about artlook® SWPA. The point of contact can view and edit the content of profiles for all schools in their district and is responsible for appointing liaisons who keep each school's artlook® SWPA profile up to date.

We'll create a new profile for your teaching artist practice, which will appear on the artlook® SWPA map in the next few days. Then an AEC team member will contact you with instructions about how to log into your profile and update it.
